Do your garden beds have cross bars, middle support?
The 6x2x1.5ft oval-shaped beds, as well as the smaller ones, are rock-solid and stable, requiring no additional support in the center. Other garden beds are all equipped with bracing rods now for that extra safety and durability.
Incorporating the bracing rods into 8x4ft and 6x3ft oval garden beds is a new design just released in late 2024. If the instruction manual in the box doesn't reflect this change and you don't know how to install it, please contact us for an updated manual.
Can I adjust the size of my garden beds by adding or removing panels?
Yes, you can customize the length of your garden beds by adding or removing panels. As long as the height matches, the screw holes will align for easy adjustment.
For customized beds wider than 3 feet or longer than 6 feet, we recommend adding bracing rods for extra stability. *Please note that if a customized garden bed starts to bulge or collapse due to improper adjustment, we cannot be held responsible. Proper installation and use of bracing rods are essential to ensure the bed remains stable.
Why are the garden beds open at the bottom?Â
The bottom-less metal garden beds prevent waterlogging. The plants will have access to nutrients at the surface soil level.
Can I place beds on hard surfaces like concrete?
If you're placing your bed on pavers, concrete, tiles, or anything you don't want to stain, we recommend using a bed liner or geotextile fabric.
To use, place your raised bed in position, then place the fabric on the bottom of the bed from the inside. Run excess fabric up each side and then fill your bed with soil. The fabric allows water to drain freely, but keeps soil from touching your surface.
Will I have to worry about leakage into the soil?
No. We are proud to inform our customers that our metal garden beds fully comply with two important regulations: California Proposition 65 and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS).

Will the beds get too hot in the summer or hot climates?
Anleolife garden beds are definitely okay in summer.
We have many customers in Florida who have successfully grown plants in our metal garden beds, even during the hot summer months. While the surface of the metal can get warm, it actually reflects sunlight away from the soil, helping to maintain a balanced temperature. Additionally, soil is a natural cooling agent, which further helps regulate heat.Â
Our garden beds without bottoms also allow the soil to connect directly with the earth, promoting airflow that helps dissipate excess heat. This design ensures a comfortable growing environment for your plants, even in warmer climates.Â
Why don’t we use edge adhesive strips? Is it safe to handle the edges?
Our approach to product design and manufacturing is distinct. Unlike some other methods that involve adhesive strips on the edges, which may fall off within one or two years, our process focuses on creating smooth curled edges with seamless, integrated design. We prioritize the safety use of our products, eliminating the necessity for additional adhesive strips.
How is the raised garden bed packaged? Is it wrapped in protective film?
Our bed is packaged in thin foam sheet and plastic wrap - not clad in plastic film that requires to be peeled off before assembly. It is more environmentally friendly and can save you much time on removing protective film. The plastic corners, where most panels easily get bent during shipping are on the boxes to prevent shipping damage and keep the integrity. We ensure you a most Intact product.
What the gauge of your garden beds?
